Korean Kookmin Bank found a buyer of its stake in BCC

The shareholder of Korean Kookmin Bank, which owns 41.93% of the total shares of BCC chose the preferred buyer of its stake in Bank CenterCredit

"Shareholder of the Bank KOOKMIN BANK, which owns shares in 41.93% of the total outstanding shares of the bank, has selected a consortium of Baiseitov Bakhytbek Rymbekovich, JSC" Tsesnabank" and OJSC "Financial holding company Tsesna" as the preferred bank for the sale of the share, owned by the KOOKMIN BANK”, according to the portal Vlast.kz quoting the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

Baiseitov was selected as the preferred buyer by another shareholder of BCC, International Finance Corporation (IFC), which owns 10%.
BCC and Tsesnabank reported that the deal should be agreed with the National Bank.

It is supposed to be finished in the second quarter of 2017.
Baiseitov is the founder of BCC, he currently owns 25.6% stake in the bank.
Bank CenterCredit is the sixth largest commercial bank in terms of assets, it owns more than 1 359 billion tenge.
