“Altyn Sapa” 2018 accepts applications.
During briefing in Central Communications Service of Kazakhstan “Atameken” announced a call for applications for participation in the contest of the President of the RK “Altyn Sapa” and in the contest-exhibition “The best product of Kazakhstan”.
“Atameken” announced a call for applications for one of the most prestigious contests “Altyn Sapa” and contest-exhibition “The best product of Kazakhstan”. Under the order since 2015 the main organizer of the contests is The National Chamber of entrepreneurs. We have been doing the analysis over the past 3 years. Of course there are some questions of compliance with the methodology that we had. There are time requirements and specific tendencies in the development of business. We suggested amendments to the order that could help to raise the status of the contest and the interest of business community to improve the quality of goods and services”- said the head of the secretariat of “Atameken” Lyazzat Ramazanova at the beginning of the briefing.
Since 2018 new 4th nomination in the area of agriculture and food production was introduced in the contest of “Altyn Sapa”. The awards will be given by categories: small, medium-sized and large entities of entrepreneurship in nominations: “The best production purposes company”, “The best company supplying production for population”, “The best services provider”, “ The best company that makes food commodities and agricultural production”. Besides there are 2 special awards “The best industrial project” and “The best innovation project”.
Besides that, 1 million dollar reward for each category winner of “Altyn Sapa” is being introduced as a stimulation measure for companies. The award will stimulate the winners to participate in international contests of quality.
“The contest has 4 stages. The new stage of the contest includes examination of the company by the experts in place which means the increasing of experts’ responsibility level. The visits will be taken only to the companies-finalists”- said Deputy Director of the Department for small and medium-sized business development of “Atameken” Saltanat Abdikarimova.
The contest-exhibition “The best product of Kazakhstan” has also undergone changes. In particular, there is no winner’s division by categories.
“There had been winners of the first second and third categories before. Now there will be just 3 winners in each nomination. It is difficult to opposite different types of goods that have best consumer qualities at their own level”- said Saltanat Abdikarimova.
That was reported by Kayrat Shamshiyev, director for development of “Defektoskopiya” NGO and Magzhan Yeralyev, director of “Abzal and K” LLP.Public online voting will be another stage of the contest. Consumers can vote for 27 chosen finalists. Extra titles of the contests are excluded. Only the finalists with their final assessments and expert opinions with the help of online voting will be presented to the Contest Commission for consideration. According to the entrepreneurs participation in the contest is an opportunity to prove production quality. “Our company provides services in a very specific area. Our clients are local and foreign companies. The last year we decided to participate in “Altyn Sapa” contest and became the winner. This victory for us is the confidence that we are on the right track. It is recognition that we provide high quality services at Kazakhstan market. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizer of the contest for such opportunity”- said Kayrat Shamshiyev.
“The last year 3 Kazakhstan companies participated in the international contest within CIS - it is the second stage of “Altyn Sapa” contest. When experts came to Kazakhstan to examine companies, they were interested in our contest and rules. They were really envy because there are no analogues of such contest in the countries of CIS. It is a unique contest because the Head of State personally awards the winners. It is very strong motivation for any entrepreneur. Since 2006, 100 companies were awarded during the contest”- said Lyazzat Ramazanova.
Companies interested in participating in “Altyn Sapa” contest or in the contest-exhibition of “The best product of Kazakhstan” should apply to the regional chamber of entrepreneurs or in electronic form at www.altynsapa.kz till 1 July of 2018.
It is expected that this year the republic contest-exhibition will be held on 12-13 October 2018 in Astana city in “Korme” exhibition centre. Regional stages of the contest will be held in May-July.
