There are no borders for the institute of the Business Ombudsman
The Office of the Ombudsman for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan helped the supplier company that applied to RCE of WKR to resolve the problem that arose at the border with the People's Republic of China. In February of this year KazCargoCustoms company addressed to the regional office with its problem. The management of LLP asked to assist in resolving the conflict situation with the Chinese companies that were responsible for sending the cargo so important for the smooth operation of the life support facility in our region. As it turned out, LLP "KazCargoCustoms" concluded with the monopolist of the town in the heat supply - JSC "ZhayikTeploEnergo" - a contract for the provision of transport and logistics services for the delivery of cargo by sea and rail from the Japanese city of Yokohama to Uralsk. The cargo from Japan was sent, but it was stuck in the Chinese port of Lianyungang for unknown reasons. Naturally, the question arises: why did the cargo stay at the border? The problem turned out to be more banal. The company that was responsible for the delivery of the cargo of "KazCargoCustoms", and in this case it is LLP "Soyuztranslink", turned out to have a debt to the company, engaged in shipment of cargo from the port - OCEANSKY. As a result of their internal disputes, KazCargoCustoms suffered. Having studied the problem of the applied company, the lawyers of the regional chamber appealed for assistance in resolving the issue to Bolat Palimbetov, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan. Having received the letter, the office of the Business Ombudsman immediately took measures: appealed to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the PRC, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in resolving this situation. Those in turn did a great job by establishing the location of the container, taking measures to ensure safety for the safety of the goods by providing visa support for the personal arrival of the managers of JSC ZhayykTeploEnergo and LLP KazCargoCustoms, taking all measures to remove the Chinese company from the right to dispose of the goods and Assisting in the expedited execution of all documentation for loading and dispatch of cargo to the rightful owner. As a result of the work done a few days ago the cargo was delivered to the customer and the appeal of s LLP KazCargoCustom to the Regional Chamber found a positive solution. According to Nurzhan Maksotov, Deputy Director for Legal Affairs, this is not the first time when representatives of the Ombudsman for the Protection of Entrepreneurs Rights in WKR with the help of the office of the Business Ombudsman in Astana solved issues of entrepreneurs of international character.
