The map of regional development of entrepreneurship was presented to the French Ambassador
At the Chamber of entrepreneurs was held a meeting of Uralsk businessmen with a delegation of the French Republic headed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France Mr. Francis Etienne.
Welcoming the delegation of the French embassy, the deputy akim of the region Igor Steksov expressed hope that the dynamic development of the Kazakh-French cooperation will give impetus for investment in the West Kazakhstan region, search of the possibility of conclusion of mutually beneficial bilateral agreements.
Investment projects were presented to the French delegation: the reconstruction of airport in the town of Uralsk, the creation of an industrial zone, the construction of solar power plants, municipal solid waste recycling and others.
Director of the Regional Chamber Nurlan Kairshin made a presentation of the regional map of development of entrepreneurship, not requiring translation, since the presentation was held in English.
Francis Etienne expressed satisfaction with the provided information. "I believe that the information on investment projects is very useful for the further development of business relations between our countries - said the French Ambassador. - For my part, I will fully promote the information to our investors, to show all the projects. Your regional map of development of entrepreneurship will be of great assistance in this process. Our businessmen will see clearly what is your region, what opportunities for cooperation exist in the Western Kazakhstan".
The diplomat also said that the French diplomatic mission is to strengthen and to expand international cooperation of France and Kazakhstan. "We are interested in conducting training of Kazakhstani specialists, and we are going to organize this training in France, and in Kazakhstan by invitation of experts and trainers in the regions of Kazakhstan, - said Francis Etienne. – He also addressed the issue of simplification of visa regime for business contacts and the opening and continuing of operation of the direct flights Astana - Paris and Almaty - south of France".
"Contacts have been established, there is interest on both sides, - said after the meeting Nurlan Kairshin. – On our part, we need good projects that will interest our partners abroad".
